See What’s Happening Inside The Derm Office!
There’s always new treasures to be found and new stories to be told at The Dermatology Offices in Poplar Bluff and Paragould! When stepping into the office, one will see many memorabilia decorating the space. Though many wonder what they are at first, they are actually a collection of items from the many adventures of Dr. Yeoman! Each of these distinct gems has a story to offer for anyone who is curious. In this post, we explore some of the more recent treasures that have appeared!
Face Swapping
Have you met our Viking? He can be spotted around the Derm Office hanging with #TheDermTeam. Patients bring the funniest things to the office – our viking being one of them. We’ve had a couple of faces in there ever since the giant cutout board was left by a patient months ago in its new home. Needless to say, both patients and staff have been having a lot of fun being big and mighty during their selfies!
Butts Are Gross!
Doc has always and always will be anti-smoking. But as you would expect, he’s sure to have a little fun with sharing the message! In the office, you’ll find a classic tobacco prevention poster that features animal butts and an actual cigarette butt in a series of images. Although what’s even funnier is when some people look at the poster and attempt to figure out what the last animal is!
I Love Flowers
Doc got a huge sign in Ottawa that says “I Love Flowers”.
“Women say they don’t like flowers. But the real people who tell the truth do love flowers.”
It feels like there’s a bit more of a story to this one, but Doc’s not crazy about getting into the details. To be fair, it might be the Justin Bieber Viking next to him that’s putting him at unease.
The Monkees
Doc had a friend in New Orleans that would sell framed and signed posters of The Monkees. He felt it was a needed addition to the office when he realized half the staff didn’t know who The Monkees were. Needless to say, they definitely know now and there’s no excuse not to!
The Piano Skeleton
For those of you who haven’t been to the office, the Piano has been there since the practice started. Last Halloween, we got a skeleton to play us a few spooky tunes. Doc liked him so much, he commissioned him to stay throughout the year. Though occasionally, people take turns playing the piano and it’s always a pleasure listening.
