What is Botox®?

How Does Botox® Work?
Before injecting Botox®, we will study your facial expressions to understand how your muscles move. This will help determine which muscles need to be targeted and what the optimal dosage is needed.
When injected with a tiny needle underneath the skin and into the muscles, Botox will temporarily weaken the muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles. This blocks out the nerve signals that normally cause the muscle to contract, which in turn relaxes the fine lines and wrinkles, making them less visible.
The treatment takes a few minutes, and the discomfort is very minimal and feels like a very slight pinch.
